In the future I would like to have a managerial role within the Green Space sector managing planting projects and events. In order to work towards my career I plan to get as much hands on experience as possible in Horticulture. After completing my BSc (Hons) in Horticulture I intend to look into graduate programmes such as a Project Officer, giving me more responsibility working with others.
Below are some of my interests in Horticulture:
- Green Space Projects
- Soft Landscape- planting schemes
- Visiting places of Horticultural interest (such as Parks & Gardens, National Trust and English Heritage properties)
- Roof Gardens
- Living Walls
- Cut flower production and arranging
- Maximising food production for a growing population
